Is there any issue with a student from UK purchasing courses? I'd like to sell courses aimed the UK exam market, so how would that work? Does the student pay in $US, and the teacher get paid in the same? Is there a way of configuring the payments part so that transactions are all in GBP?

Being a European, I have a hard time understanding why cheques continue to be the preferred way of payments in the US. For me cheques are a clumsy, slow, and very insecure method of payment that in other countries is considered obsolete and hardly ever used any more. Electronic "cable" deposit by transfer into a bank account is by far the preferred method in my view, practically instant, secure and easily traceable in case of error or mistake. PayPal and similar services is another option that is much better than cheques in the mail.
Anyone has arguments to defend the use of cheques by snailmail?
