Help Center: Why do some courses require me to provide my name and email?

Some teachers may require they receive the student's email, first and last name, so that they can do further correspondence with their students. These teachers want the opportunity to promote their courses directly to your email. When you take these courses, your email, first and last name will be available to the teacher to contact you further.
